For some reason, whenever I'm improvising on the piano, the melody often ends up being in the key of D Flat major.

Incidentally, about half of the eight or so Chopin pieces that I can play are also in either D Flat major or its relative minor key, B flat minor.

to a certain extent i can understand since the vocals are very sloppy/yelly/whatever you want to call it but that's kind of also what makes it so great cause it feels so much more real

idk there's just few other songs i've heard that have managed to capture that much honesty and emotion and passion and as sloppy as the vocals are they really just work in its favor for that reason i think

Eh, I'm really picky with my music, too. There are only like 7 songs that I regularly listen to.
