All I could smell was this horrible smell of maggots and decay. To my right, only a few feet from me, was a half rotten human body, laying on the bottom of the creek.

Yes, I think it was just a little bit inspiring. Ever since then, I've gotten into horror related content (Silent Hill, Creepypasta, Amnesia, etc.). Surprisingly, it wasn't that traumatic. I don't recall ever having nightmares about it, and I later bragged to my classmates about seeing a dead body.

And no, I'm not Slenderman. I'm more of a "Jeff" type person anyway.
