The new enemy assets use Autodesk FBX formats while before they were DAE. DAE's are still there but are not optimised for the current version of HPL2.
What we are waiting for is a small update that will allow those with A Machine for Pigs to be able to use the assets. You can open the maps in the level editor but because of the folder structure limitations currently in place, most of the assets in the level will not be there. So what we are waiting for is:
- An update that will allow us to import the FBX file format
- An update that will change the core asset folder from "Amnesia the Dark Descent" to "common" (in the case of steam)
