Always remember my childhood best friend playing the Harry Potter games. They seemed good.

I remember when I borrowed Shrek 2 the game from him... Back when games of films were actually decent.

I did play the Harry Potter games. They were fuckin sweet. Despite the fact they had 0 to do with the actual books.

Just the fact we could fly on one of these flying genetic experiments was a seller to me.

Hey, The Riddick games were great!

Sure they weren't based on the actual movie's plot but that was so great about it. You got to see a bit of universe and character building instead of being forced to play through setpieces from the movies.

Damn it, now I want to play it.

Wonder if it's on steam...

So much lack of multiplayer games. QQ
Spoiler below!

1. League of Legends - May cause rage from time to time, but team coordination, plays, and champ selection make the game so much fun and definitely at the top of my list. I find myself watching lots of ranked games, world championship and pro player streams, and studying up on each champ I go to try to get more personal experience and ideas to better my game. For being in the game for a few months, maybe 2 or 3, I think I've come far since I started.

Spoiler below!

2. Team Fortress 2 - The game makes for some interesting experiences and plays, but lately, I've been growing tired of some imbalanced mechanics and haven't played as often. Still at the top for how much fun I've had with it.

Spoiler below!

3. Mirror's Edge - My favorite single player game of all time. The art, the soundtrack, the incredibly smooth first person freerunning. I can't wait to hear more of Mirror's Edge 2 <3

Spoiler below!

4. Halo: Reach - The multiplayer was really what had me playing this game almost everyday when I used to play on the xbox. It was easily my favorite of all Halos when it came to gameplay, even though some others dislike it.

Spoiler below!

5. Halo: ODST - Of all Halos, this one really turned it around for me. I never was fond of the ODSTs, but after playing this, they're easily my favorite soldiers in the series. They don't get drugged and surgically infused like Spartans do, yet still push limits to do their jobs. The way they look is a bonus, and I plan on trying to make a suit irl with my practice of costume making simply because of how badass it looks. I'm 5'6", so making a costume for myself as a Spartan is out of the question. lol ODST > Spartan.

Spoiler below!

6. Dead Space 1 and 2 - Dead Space 1 was really everything I looked for in a horror game all my life. I love space and the universe, everything about it. I also love horror games and mutation of the human anatomy. Mix these together with some sick sound and music design, and you have my favorite horror game of all time. Dead Space 2 was a lot less scary, but the gameplay was a blast, the story was nice and well developed, and I ended up playing it almost 10 times. I have a huge poster of this on my wall. Let's not bring up Dead Space 3 though... That was a bit of a disappointment. :I (coop was fun though, I can't deny that)

Spoiler below!

7. Left 4 Dead 2 - Used to spend tons of time with my sis and some friends on xbox live just going nuts in versus mode. Good times, and some bad of course...

Spoiler below!

8. Zelda: Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess - Loved them both. I actually played MM on an emulator for the first time ever on an emulator about a month ago. It was a lot deeper than OoT and I think I respect MM a bit more for that. Twilight princess was a bit reminiscent of OoT and had a cool darkness to it. It was different in ways, but never strayed far from what made Zelda great.

Spoiler below!

9. Silent Hill Series - I can't even pick a favorite. I had some good memories with these and they'll inspire me for the rest of my life.

Spoiler below!

10. Amnesia: The Dark Descent - I remember downloading it as maybe my third game on Steam when I first got my computer. It was on sale for $10 and went for it blind, only going off a recommendation from a friend. I thought the castle theme was a little odd for a horror game and thought I couldn't get scared because of it. Boy was I wrong. I think I fearquit from just stress about 2 or 3 times and figuring out about it having custom stories, I decided to search up the forum for the game, when I got here, to see if I could find info about making my own. If it weren't for the easy modability of the game, I probably would have had a much harder time getting into game designing early. Not only one of the scariest games I've played, but the most rewarding. :D

1) Deus Ex
Spoiler below!
Deus Ex gives you almost complete operational freedom as a cyberaugmented agent in a very Alex Jones relevant and gritty maturely-presented near future scenario, strung together as the coolest fucking story New York has ever had the pleasure of being taken place in.

2) Pathologic
Spoiler below!
Spanning three complete singleplayer campaigns all intertwined in one gripping and unforgettable story, Pathologic does horror quite unlike any game I've played. Sexbad's review can explain it better than I, but the gist is that it's up to you to prevent catastrophe, rather than meander around in its wake and the effort demanded of the player makes for a very intense and unnerving experience. [Image: Pathologic.jpg]

3) Unreal Gold
Spoiler below!
While the story is definitely weaker than the two above, Unreal has an atmosphere that stands out the moment you step off the prison starship. Environments are fantastic and diverse with the soundtrack reflecting the mood perfectly.

Oh my god yes. The fact that Jeremy Soule composed the soundtrack also makes it that much better.
