RE: Permanently tired

I'd recommend changing something in daily routine.

Getting off computer and doing more cardio or even just get fresh air. Also, I'd watch out a bit of food intake and see if I'd be missing important nutrients like C- or D-vitamin and iron. I've been taking care of my sleeping problem with meds but noticed that if I eat properly and get out more, I sleep better.

Also, I've heard about using program called F.lux on your computer to help sleep better.
No idea if it works like that, but at least it makes my eyes feel better since the screen ain't bright blue. If nothing else, at least give F.lux a try! It's a free program and you can change settings to your own liking.

RE: Permanently tired

excercise and healthy diet.

Sounds simpler than it is, but it is very much worth it. Especially if you spend a lot of time in front of the computer. I would recommend going to the gym and starting a weightlifting progrem together with a bit of light running on an off day, but that is just my taste and different things work for different people. Anyways, your hormone cocktail will adapt to the stress and might even reach the level where you can`t sleep without the excercise and feel like a slob all day. Wink

Small input: I've heard that the best sleep is the one before 00.00 am.

Trying is the first step to success.

RE: Permanently tired

Thanks for the suggestions. I went for a 2 hour speed walk around my campus yesterday (it was too humid to run) but I didn't feel much more tired at night. Maybe I'll try out flux.

Stay off the high sugars and high starches. Keep it up with those flies that like to hover around the pond, getting all that good protein. That's right, you know what i'm talking about. Mhmm.
