				Oh, action-based...
I'm assuming when you say "action-based", you mean, "hack things with a hammer/pickax/broom" kind of action-based, right?

I thought Overture and Black Plague were very good games, but I thought things improved when you took out the combat system. Maybe I'm just misinterpreting your words, but the run-like-hell system you incorporated with Black Plague was actually a welcome change from what most games have.

Just wanna clarify what I mean with "action based":
In penumbra the challenges that was faced by the player where puzzles where one needed to stop and consider on what to do next. In our next project we want a better flow and instead have more and "simpler" challenges that face the player. This does not mean that we will not have harder brain teasers, but that the core gameplay will be more fluent and not have the player pausing and wondering what to do all the time. Also, it does not mean that the player will hackin' and slashin' through the levels.

Hope that makes stuff more clear | |

so basically, it will be puzzleous, and will have the involvement of weapons, just not a heavy emphasis. Like call of cthulhu?

i would think that they have put a larger amount of work into this than penumbra, i would say it's maybe a bit more in price.
