Favourite music?

Hi all! I start this thread because I'm interested in what kind of music you all listen to!

I personally love Doo-Wop! The Ink Spots, The Mills Brothers, Betty Everett etc-
Jazz and blues is really great too, especially Jan Johansson (Jazz on swedish), Bill Evans and Bo Diddley!
Not to mention Flamenco! Paco de Lucia is really the best imo! Big Grin

Say your word!

Classical (Brahms, Dvorák, Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Mozart), some pc music (Descent 3, Descent 3: Mercenary, Call of Duty, Call of Duty United Offensive, Penumbra Overture & Black Plague (havent heard requiem yet, but I'm sure I'd love that too), also 7th Guest).
I have some others, but those are some of my more favorite pieces, oh, also Alice is alright (PC game: American McGee's Alice)

Game tracks are really nice too. I like the Battlefield music, Icewind Dale and Baldurs Gate series have some really neat scores. Wink

Beethoven is alright too! I really like Moonlight Sonata, it's my favourite from him.

Moonlight sonata is a really good one, Brahms is cool also

Lately what I'm listening to the most is movie OST's (Batman Begins, Snatch, Fight Club...), Blind Guardian, Atreyu, Agua de Annique, Cold, Akira Yamaoka (mainly songs from Silent Hill)... also got some Starcraft tracks on my cellphone Tongue

I also love stuff by Clint Mansell, he has made music for Requiem for a Dream and The Fountain. Excellent stuff.

RE: Favourite music?

Once I learn the piano, Moonlight Sonata is going to be the first song i want to play on the piano, my own personal choice.

RE: Favourite music?

I listen all kind of music. For me, it's not about the genre of the music...

For example, someone listens Rap and Hip-Hop and then they start to insult people that listen Metal and people that listen Metal start to insult people who listens Rap and Hip-Hop. Oh, come on! What's the point?

But if we are talking about favourite, mine is: Metal/Rap/Trance (Electronic).

And my favourite bands are: Seether & Celldweller.

RE: Favourite music?

I agree with you Scraper! I don't normally categorize music that much. But it helps a little to do it when for example talking on a forum, to make people understand what type of music it is. Wink

Harmonica is my favourite instrument btw. And Norwagian Violin (or whatever its name is.)
