So nothing could have come from nothing.... except god.

I...bu... what.?!

I want to say something but it would just start a flame war. : (
Quote:If there ever is a sitcom that has Ghieri and TheWalshinator living together in a two bedroom apartment, i'd watch it religiously.
Why, because we have opposing viewpoints?

If there's a joke here, I'm missing it.

Because it was too hard for you to check the previous page, or to click the "Find" button below my signature to look for my previous post.

Yes, for 15 long years.

Contradiction much?

A picture in my school about planetary formation said that god made it.
Umm, no. Accretion and mutual gravity from protoplanets did it.

Chill Ghieri, i'm just saying it'd be a massively entertaining sitcom. No joke at anyone's expense.

I would go into a whole massive post about what I am getting at, but I am not going to because I am sure a flame war will come of it, and people will only see what they want to see.And I did mean God before everything else, so NOT a contradiction.

You will see me, and weep in cold fear...

Flaming, insults and similar unpleasantness will be deleted on sight, so don't worry about sparking flame wars Just state your points dispassionately and everything will be dandy.

You often use Bible quotes to prove your point, which is problematic.

* The Bible says God is real
* The Bible was written/divinely inspired by God
* Therefore God must be real

It's a circular argument. What the Bible says about itself or its primary subject is not good evidence.

Our understanding of the universe is full of holes, but to plug those holes with God doesn't make God any more likely, certainly not as those holes are regularly closed or shrunk by scientific advances.

Do you take issue with the theory of evolution by natural selection?

Yeah, I'm getting that impression here.

You know, sometimes I think that living in the US is miserable, but then I look at some other countries and think it could be worse.
Then again, it could be better. I dunno, Norway or Sweden?

I'm sure it would not end well. Someone would end up dead. Most likely me.
