Yeah, you must create a texture and then a material for that texture using the MaterialEditor, otherwise your model will not be visible.

RE: Collada in model editor won't appear
It is simple: I want to export an object as a collada. Then I want to import it in the model editor, so that I can use it in my custom story. http://postimg.org/image/6mf9vm03d/

The moon is in some cases not visible during the day.
Jokes aside, if you would be willing to upload texture+model I could have a look at it.

RE: Collada in model editor won't appear
I have a texture. I tried to use the same size for width and height, but that didn't work either. So, here is the model with the original texture (and original size). Thank you for your help. It would be fantastic if you could tell me what I did wrong.

Click anywhere on the Model Editor with it already imported.
"Veni, vidi, vici."

RE: Collada in model editor won't appear
I tried that, too. But the problem is, that it crashes when I choose it. Even if I try to add the texture in the model editor... And if I do it, the texture would only appear at the inside of the sphere, wouldn't it?

If it's showing at the inside rather then the outside, you have your normals flipped backward.
For Blender, use Recalculate Normals/Flip Normals in Edit Mode.
"Veni, vidi, vici."
"I came, I saw, I conquered."

RE: Collada in model editor won't appear
Okay, but it still crashes. Is there a possible reason for it?

RE: Collada in model editor won't appear
Well, the object itself appears in the editor, the texture doesn't. The two texture materials are 1024 x 1024 (dds), I used "Singletexture", "Backface Culling", "Triangulate Faces" "UV Mapping" and each other option.
The texture just won't appear. Do you have an idea?
