Ok guys.......
I've got this problem!
On MY pc wjhere i've worked on the mod for many months!
the mod works PERFECT!
Now when i try it on my girlfriends laptop, yea.... the entitites \ statics are all messep up and placed weird!
Why and what can i do to fix this?

The thing is when i put the WHOLE 3.4 gig on her pc it works fine.
BUT when i've used AMN tool, some stuff not nescasery {i guess} isnt loading \ placed well.. like all is messed up!

Because i wanted to release it this week................
But now...
I can't even release the first main menu, that's already fucked up!

Did your bugtesters tried it ? You should experiment on more computers, shouldn't you ? Maybe it's only wrong with 1 of them.

I got this issue with AMN tool as well(the tool that copies files right?), had walls all over the place.
The fix for me was as simple as that after doing all your file editting stuff you simply delete the new .map files and replace them with the ones from your backup. If you used AMN tool without a backup then...

Lol, hold on,

replace the new .map files with the old ones to fix.

How is that possible?, the amnesia tool only takes paths and turns them into locals.
From ../../user/steam/something/amnesia/entities/chair/chair.ent to /MyMod/Entities/chair/chair.ent

Rest is left as is. That cannot be the problem dnAlange is having.
(Btw, get the latest version, has new things.)


The only file type the amnesia tool misses intentionally are the .msh files, cause the other amnesia client is supposed to create automatically its own version of it.

Maybe the other amnesia client it's creating a weird .msh for the objects?

I really can't tell since I have no idea what the new update is doing, and this tool was designed on the stable amnesia we all have, not this beta update.

AMN explanation sounds very much like it could be it, try following patriks guide to see if it fixes it for the individual model:

Before making any changes to your models, make a backup.
After making your changes, delete the model's msh file.
Basically make sure that your custom models all use a unit scale of 1 meter (you can open the dae file in a text editor and search for <unit and make sure the full line says <unit meter="1" name="meter"></unit>).
And also that the node transforms don't contain any matrices. I don't know how to avoid this when exporting your model, but to fix it after exporting, search in the file for any line beginning with <matrix sid="matrix"> and remove them.
