I think I tried this once and I ran into a problem. For some reason they disappeared from the level. Does that happen with these?

Well, it shouldn't disappear when you load the map, of course. In which folder did you put it? Did you delete the cache? And will they disappear when you click them? Because that's normal.

Cannot remember, it's a long time ago. I do, however, remember doing what you did. Just changing the user defined variables.

Well, you'll have to copy every file and be sure not to rename it. Or you'll have to change everything. Placing it in another folder is fine.
