			| Where to start? (With a new question!)

Hey guys, new user here, and player of Amnesia (of course).
I was greatly interested in playing the custom stories, but since there are SO many, where should I start?

Any suggestions and/or opinions would be fantastic! Thanks!

Hello guys! I had another, bit more complicated question that you guys might be able to answer.
Ever since really getting into the horror genre (i.e. Amnesia, Outlast, and Slender), I've been itching to try my hand at Custom Stories. So, my question is this:

Is it possible to make an Amnesia mod based around the character/idea of Slender? Because I had an idea of making a narrative mod that details the psyche process of a Slender survivor. Slender itself won't actually appear in-game, but he will be heavily referenced. Can I do this without getting into trouble for it, since there is no definitive copyright document for the IP?

Don't know really. Slender isn't exactly the 'scariest' form of scary that you can get (jumpscare over suspense). Even now I would think Slender itself is cliche; like Flappy Bird vs clones

I don't think you'll get in trouble for using the Slender idea. It's used everywhere nowadays. As long as you don't actually rip any models or use something distinctly from another game, I'm gonna think it's fine. I may be wrong though, but I haven't heard of any copyright issues with Slender.
Now, if you're wondering if this is technically possible to do in the Amnesia HPL2 engine, then yes, very much possible. It might take some getting used to, but most things are possible if you're creative.

@Romulator: I agree. Which is exactly why it's a narrative idea and not a 'survival horror' one.
@Mudbill: Thanks, I was worried about it. I mainly wanted to use the HLP2 Engine for its atmosphere tools and 'finding letters/journals' aspect.
