I think they did a fantastic job of recreating the scene word for word exact as they did in the books. I mean, I don't think they could have made it any more brutal tbh.

With the Red Wedding however, they didn't do it how they did it in the books. And I actually prefer the TV version because it was a lot more "OOOHHHHH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT" than it was in the books I found.
