Sony Vegas is by no means perfect but I actually like it more than Adobe Premier Pro.
I prefer the layout and just the way SV works over APP but it does seem like APP does perform better than SV in terms of consumption use.
Oh and apparently editors in the film industry use APP (according to my old editing tutor)
