Pls use the button, this goes for everyone else here. It helps us out a lot because I don't often go through every sub-section and I'm not sure if the same goes for other mods. I appreciate every report, even if I don't respond to the reporter.
Also, if you all need to talk something out, can you do it in private please? I'm not too fond of leaving a negative atmosphere for all of us who aren't taking part in this fiasco. Keep the forums fun! I may just delete any posts related to bashing each other from here on out.

In my experience the only people who understand mental illness are the mentally ill.
Depression fucking sucks, I know how that is.

May I ask how a depression is? I don't know if I have it or just my personality...

"Mrs. A? What does depression feel like?"
"Well… It feels like all I want is to die, but I have to live."

It's... complicated. Ashtoreth has a good point with that comic, but imagine being perfectly happy one moment, then something really small happens, like maybe someone was rude to you, or you are having problems with your math homework. Now you feel completely and utterly hopeless and worthless, empty, and alone, for no real reason at all. And you stay like that for maybe an hour, maybe the rest of the day, or maybe for the next week. Now I have the added benefit of having anxiety disorder as well, so I spend all that time focused on that one point trying to figure out what I did wrong. On top of that is the difficulty I have making new friends. Seriously, I only recently learned that walking up to people to talk to them is an acceptable thing to do. Before that, I always thought I'd be imposing on them and it was the source of much anxiety.
If you're a teenager, it shouldn't really be a problem unless you are absolutely fixated on your feelings. Because your emotions in flux, mild depression episodes in sparse intervals are normal. Though, if you have regular thoughts of suicide, seek help. Seriously.
