I just finished To the Moon. I thought it was definitely a fantastic game with a very unusual gameplay concept. The whole collecting mementos idea made the game somewhat tedious, but I did enjoy the puzzles at the end of each memory. To the Moon also had a very good mix of both humourous and serious moments, and I enjoyed the music a lot, although a few of the piano tunes sounded kind of...off. To River is definitely an excellent piece.
Due to my personal bias (which I will not mention here), I did not get emotional over the story, but I still enjoyed the plot overall. Not the best game I've played recently, but it's definitely up there. I appreciate the designers for their innovation, but the game definitely had a couple of flaws that I have personal problems with, like the inability to lose.
Edit: Ok, I think I'll mention it anyways. I thought it was a cheesefest. That's why I didn't get very emotional.
