The protagonist of The Piano is mute. It's a great film, you should check it out.

Windows 10 may be automatically downloading to your computer if you are still on 7/8.1, consuming some of your Hard Drive space and your internet capacity (if it is limited, considering 3.5-6GB is sort of a lot P: )
This article may help if you want to opt-out of a particular method (downloading or constant startup nagging): https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3080351
Also, C:/ should have a hidden folder (if you have them visible) called $Windows.~BT. You can delete this folder with no consequence to get your space back - but you won't stop the automatic (re)download. The article I posted has steps to get rid of it.

YUHP! I discovered this happening a while ago, I'm on W7 and suddenly my 150 gig SSD that I run the OP from was full and my computer could barely do shit.
Dig into files and discover a 30 gig installation of windows 10 sitting on there.
Screw you microsoft, you almost killed my computer.

There is a Windows Update marked as "An important security update," which all it does is add the GETWINX.exe app to your system tray. This app starts with your computer and you cannot easily get rid of it. It might also be the cause of what's downloading Windows 10, though I'm not sure.
If you want to get rid of it (like I did), simply uninstall that Windows Update. Go to Installed Updates and search for KB3035583, then get rid of it. After that, you might have to restart. You should also check Windows Update, because it might want to give you that same update again, so you should select it and right-click > "Hide Update" to stop it.

I'd love to use Linux if only Windows wasn't so dominating in compatibility. Windows isn't a very good OS in my opinion even if I can enjoy using it. I think that's the thing with compatibility; the more compatible you try to make it, the more incompatible it will be at the same time. More chances for issues.
I want Linux to have a distro that is as user friendly as OS X, and still contain the advanced features of Linux that the techies love. So far I've only come across those who sadly require the use of Terminal to operate fully, like Ubuntu. Using apt-get to install software isn't very appealing to the common rabble.

Kubuntu+Plasma 5 is the closest to it.
And OpenSUSE and Mint.

Beware though, if all you do is remove the patch, it will automaticly download again, what you must do is turn of automatic updates in order to prevent it from returning in the future.
I have also discovered an alternative if you want to get rid of the annoying UPGRADE NOW messages, if you launch taskmanager and find GWX.exe ( which is the process causing these messages ) you can right click and go directly to its location, step back one folder and select the GWX folder and rename it.
I renamed mine GWX_Bullshit and now whenever I launch windows it doesn't know where the file is, thus it can not be run.
Do note, you can not rename the exe itself or delete it thanks to borkosoft protection.

If you do that it won't reinstall it. Also, yeah I guess it was GWX.exe, not GETWINX.exe. My memory was slightly off.
