Oh, I'm well aware. I watch a lot of TheAmazingAtheist. I watched that video that was posted, I know what he meant =P It's still relative.

i know, there are some videos where i completely agree with him while there are some where i believe he is talking total bullcrap. It's just that names like that really set me off "AmazingAtheist" "Amazingchristian" "Proud2bechristian" "proud2beAtheist" what is there to be proud of ? choosing to believe or not believe in something doesn't make you any better or anything.

Yeah I get you mean. But names like that don't really bother me. What if someone just so happens to be proud of being an atheist/Christian/insert other religion name here? Its their nickname and even if we don't like them its none of our business.

I don't see why it's a big deal either. If someone wants their username to be "LoveOfGod", I have no problem with that, nor do I have a problem with TheAmazingAtheist having atheist in his name. It's simply an alias reflecting his personality, as well as others.

well might just be my bad experience with people, because i know that some people think that because they are atheists (or something else) it's supposed to mean they are smarter, so they like to announce it everywhere.. Hey! i'm an atheist! hey! i'm a christian!
.. So that was the first impression the YT guy gave me with that username.

i really hate to repeat myself, maybe you just didn't notice my first post about this matter and how the discussion evolved.

So in short:
He's no better than religious people that preach everywhere and critisize (totally spelled that wrong) other people's lifestyles. I mean, he created a YT channel where he himself preaches about how bad the pope is, how bad christians are.. and so on and so forth.

He has a point, you know. Tbh I find people who constantly bring up/complain/argue over religion or other topics like that just as bad if not worse than the extremists. Yes, we all know that there's a lot of really fucked up aspects of religion and religious extremists, telling us this once a week isn't going to change that and it isn't going to make us come to some startling new realization about the subject we didn't already figure out for ourselves ages ago. Costantly complaining about it and bringing it up just gets really really annoying after a while. It's the same reason I dislike people who complain abot swag/pop music/how this generation is doomed about twice as much as the people who actually cause the problem (and why I want to stab my eyes out every time I watch a video from adoseofbuckely!)
