I'm playing Pokemon gold right now and I'm not sure which of my pokemon that I should teach cut to. I have a croconaw, Onix, Magikarp, Mareep, Spearow and Hoothoot. I don't want to teach it to Croconaw, Onix or Mareep, but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep Spearow and Hoothoot. I'm not sure if I want to teach it to Magikarp because Later I might, god forbid, evolve it into a Gyarados and in that case I want four spots for my attacks and not one occupied by cut. Any help?

And thanks for the tip, Aldighieri; Sounds like a good idea. Now is the question, Should I keep my Hoothoot or my Spearow? My Hoothoot is like, lvl 14, but my Spearow is only 6(I started the game two days ago)
