It's not about being Indie: The way I knew about Amnesia was because a troll friend showed it to me, while I had no clue what the hell it was. Amnesia is a so good game that it doesn't need much advertise: The same people who play it reccomend it to people.
Because that is what usually happens with good artworks: Song of ice and fire, from George R. Martin was quite unknown here in europe, because there wasn't much media advertising it. It was the people itself that spreaded the message.

I know what you're saying and I agree, but its the fact that its an Indie game that it is so humbling and there is good reason for it too since it is a great game and gathered a dedicated following.

ummm no when i was 12 i was watching shitty comedy videos on youtube and played browser games with my friends
considering that the concept of having a relationship is still pretty much a joke when you're at that age (and chances are you most likely won't have a meaningful one until you're out of highschool) i find it kind of silly that he's acting like he learned some sort of meaningful lesson from this that he'll carry with him for the rest of his life, especially considering it lasted like 2 weeks i think

And when Kman is even older he'll recount this event.
"ummm no when i was 15 i was looking down on 12 year olds and discussing music with my friends(?)"
