That was a contract to publish the game on Xbox exclusively, microsoft don't actually own minecraft. Think of it like when Skyrim released their DLC for the xbox exclusively before they were allowed to release it for the other platforms, it's common practice.

Facebook won't interfere with the development process of the Rift in any way, and the Rift will be cheaper and even better than they planned, since now Oculus can basically make the CV1 everything they want it to be. (They can order custom hardware, such as custom screens instead of relying on the smartphone market, etc.)
