RE: Blandom Snuff
Well, if you don't give a shit then you shouldn't have said anything about it in the first place eh?

No I didn't miss the point, I just don't understand how it's your business what he's excited about?
EDIT: And wouldn't you know, we passed 12,000. Now we can all be excited!

RE: Blandom Snuff
I have been reading the forums since 2011 which, if I remember, was long before this thread became a reality. Maybe I'm exited for the thread maker and I'm happy that he made a thread that got to 12,000 posts. I'm allowed to be happy for others, right?
edit: It doesn't matter if it's not a "legendary" change or not, if this forum plays a portion in my life, (which it has for the last few years) then I'm going to be happy for when part of it hits a milestone.

You need to learn to calm down son. Just think before you act the next time and this won't have to happen again, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings.

You people are taking this too seriously. If MrWhitticus finds it exciting, then more power to him I say. The world would become a much darker place if reactions to something all had to make sense.
It is a mildly silly thing to be excited about, but it's just a random little thing so eh should do no harm.

Except, when you joined doesn't matter, the forum creator isn't even still around, which you'd know if you paid any attention to the forums, and even if the forum plays a part in your life, this thread isn't the forum at all, in a way I'd say it's representative of some of the worst aspects of the forums.
Alright. So you don't understand why I am excited for when something I've actively been following hits a new spot. To be honest, I don't either. I simply opened up my FGF bookmark on Google Chrome this morning and thought "huh, Random is about to hit 12,000, that's kinda cool," and then I went ahead and expressed that I thought so. Then, someone expressed that they didn't understand, so I used a half formed analogy to explain it. Didn't work, I tried to explain it better. Still, he didn't understand, which is when I realised that I didn't understand, and now I'm trying to explain it again.

Ad Hominem, and the "Calm down" trope.
Thank you for admitting I'm right.
You're most welcome, just please promise me to think twice next time, ok?
