PC installed by Steam with old SN

Hi,
I'm having huge problems with sound on my openSuSE 13.1.
Of course with standard libvorbis (0.3.0) game won't start at all. So I switched symlinks in lib/ dir into my ordinary from /usr/lib which is already 0.4.6.
But with such new lib, sound is awful, there is some echo and lots of noise.
Honestly - you can't play more than 5 minutes with such noise on your earphones.

I just read about this problem and I found some information (in this forum), that version from Steam has no problems with sound on latest distros.
So is there any possibility to get Penumbra Collection installed from Steam with SN bought around 2009?
