Aaaaaand it's back! Well, I was never gone, I just wasn't posting updates on this thread because progress was slow. I made a trailer! I wanted to get interest for this going again, because I'm getting close to the release date. Get your hype train rolling! Choo choo, bitches!

WOW. Amazing video! Can I just suggest something?
The lighting for the fire, unless it's about the plot, doesn't make a vivid red color. Red should be used to heighten up tension and attract the player's attention like in the silhouette of the statue with the glowing eyes.

This is probably a petty thing to point out but think about it.

 Also: HYPE!

Good thing it's only the trailer music, then, huh? The story itself will have music that's more appropriate for the setting.

oh shoot, i forgot to mention something. speaking of the music, even if you guys don't really like it, you should absolutely watch the music video for the song I chose. it's beautiful; the whole thing is a slow, methodical sci-fi trip about terraforming mars to be livable. It's awesome. just trust me.

I loved the music that your video was set to, DLed it and added it to my playlist ^.^
Felt very appropriate for a trailer, never felt like it was out of place to me. Maybe in game it would, but.

Oh man, that is precious. Really makes me imagine something like this to perhaps happen one day, over the course of hundred, perhaps thousands of years.
I mean, we're already able to affect our own atmosphere, so I wonder if it'd be possible to modify Mars' to support this.
