A Machine For Pigs Assignment

Hello.

I'm writing a 20 pages assignment.
The subjects I'm writing in are Math and English.

The main subject is Video Games, and this is my thesis in English:

"You are to analyse and interpret the video game Amnesia: A mAchine for Pigs from 2013, with special focus on setting and surroundings of the plot. Furthermore you're asked, on basis of a review of the victorian era, to relate to the victorian society in the 1800s of England."

(Keep in mind that this is directly translated and mind not be done correctly. I'm not doing my assignment in the English language, only the English subject.)

My request is, if you know any good sites, documents, anything that talks about AAMFP, the victorian era, or both, maybe you could link them here?
I'd very much appreciate it, since if I don't pass this assignment I won't graduate.

I posted in Off-Topic because the subject didn't seem fitting for "General Discussion".

I'm guessing this is on a university level? If it is, I'd say that the library's history section would be good place to start. (for the victorian era)

I guess I can suggest The Norton Anthology of English Literature ninth edition. It is more focused on the literary period but it does have some background facts on the victorian era. You could also look at the language of victorian novels and see if it occurs in the AAMFP texts.

You should read this because it's long and we all know the longer something is the better:

Oh, right.

I should also say I only have 2 weeks to finish this, starting 3 days ago.

The longer the better doesn't necessarily work here ^^
But thanks.

Yes we're talking both setting and litterature

Sweet yet stressful. I have to make this right.
I haven't begun on the English part yet. Right now I'm only doing the math part, which is pretty straight forward.

(I just hope I find enough material to make up for 20 pages).

Now I just need to find material on AAMFP, Victorian Era and litterature.

You might find this thread useful.

Your topic is a convergence of various interests of mine. If you have any specific questions, I'd be glad to help!

Also, this article is actually about the next Assassin's Creed, but it has some useful background about Victorian London, in the context of computer games.

It's nice with extra knowledge but everything I write I have to show where it is from.
You know, to back up the facts.

The article is useful though! Thank you!
