I've been playing with this lately, it's a basic gun+flashlight.
You can see in the video it can be used in several situations and objects.
I applied it only to enemies, but it can affect anything you want, like a vase, a rope, a glass, and act accordingly. Cause it uses entities as targets.
Since it replaces the lantern, there are a couple of limitations:
- You can't hide/draw the gun. (so, permanent light source)
- You shoot pressing F.
- Unlimited ammo. (Unless someone comes up with a system for it)
And one bug I found:
- The gun uses the function LookAtCallback to acquire targets, so you gotta look and shoot at the enemies to deal damage, if a second target appears right behind the first, the LookAtCallbackmay fail. So you gotta look away once so the code may detect the new target. But it's very rare bug, just don't spam enemies to the player and it's fine.
This feature it's very easy to apply in your mod, I'm gonna upload a small tutorial and zip with everything -it's not much, just some kb- in the Resources section so anyone can use it.

Hmm it could, tho then you have to make a rifle as the hand model! I think what Daemen did pretty much is turn a lantern into a shooting flashing gun XD My question is: Is it going to be in anyone's mod lol....

If there's going to be a AMFP enfield rifle version, I MIGHT add it to The Streets of London but since it replaces the lantern and I think that Amnesia only allows one player hand model I have to decide to keep the lantern or ditch it for the rifle which would suck because I would really like to have the both of them.
