Nevermind. I found out how to fix it.

If you have an ATI Radeon x1600 card, as I do, you have to roll your driver back to before 8.6.

Then you have to install the 8.6 catalyst.

If you have an ATI Radeon x800 card you're screwed.

All other cards work fine.
