Badass game characters

In this thread we discuss the badass characters of the video game world.
Jack Carver from Far Cry is obviously the best, because not only is he a badass motherfucker, but he is on an archipelago full of badass motherfuckers like a sausage fest. Considering he has equal strength and intelligence as them all and kills them all with his knife, that actually, I believe, would make him a super badass motherfucker.

Master Chief... and since he already won the entire thread I might aswell mention Albert Wesker deserves something like second place. Marcus Fenix, Ryu Hayabusa, Dante (Devil May Cry) and Leon (Resident Evil 4) are also pretty badass.

Worst regards, Kejdane.
205 characters remaining.

Caleb from Blood is definitely bad-ass. C'mon, anyone who'd actually use an aerosol can and a zippo as a weapon, or a pitchfork, and who laughs maniacally at zombies and cultists getting ripped to shreds by dynamite bundles is definitely top of the list of Bad-Ass protagonists.

Master chief? That's one of the most repetitive, bland uninspired pieces of crap I've played.

My vote goes down to Red.

I dunno, Red was cool...but he was just more delusional and not-right in the head than badass I think. I agree with your Master Chief comment, though. :-D

RE: Badass game characters

I've played like an hour of Gears of War, but I can already tell Marcus Fenix is a dickgirl.

I also forgot B.J. Blascowicz, but not the wimpy one with the nineties haircut from the 2009 game that can't use pistols.

Blowing apart mimes was fun.

Yeah, like the most successful and popular series of the 21th century that's brought a dozen of innovations to the FPS genre? I bet you said the same about Half Life : |

I bet you said the same about Half Life : | The way halflife told the story (and their animations) is still great. But *surprise* it's gameplay turned into a repetitive mush after the first enemy.
