Can't really tell, but judging from the trailer, it would be pretty linear. But maybe there are some sites with linear parts like Upsilon and big hub sites like Lambda.

I don't recall that topic specifically, but I do believe SOMA tries to load areas as you progress so there are no limited loading screens between large areas.
Thus, there may be a hub area which may divide, but there may not be a door which you click on which causes a loading screen intermission :3

oh right, i remember hearing that in an interview. that could be pretty interesting. i imagine you could get incredibly lost though if you miss something..
