Can the player meet any human characters in this game?

Thanks. It'll be kinda funny when the game comes out and we all see what theories were on track and what others were complete waffle.

I can imagine walking in to the room where she is and be like, Damn it.

i mean more traditional underrepresented ethnicities. asians are very well represented in the stem fields, maybe not so much asian women, so that's progress of a kind, but what about black, mexican, and middle eastern? i think it'd be cool if in a moment of levity for sake of comedy relief, the character could ask a black female doctor if she would go out when all this is over, and she replies, sorry, i'm actually lesbian or transqueer.

Is the only thing really holding back human NPC in the game, facial movements, do you think, or do you think it could be possible, with the engine?

The problem is not the engine, since it is fully capable of animating. The problem is the actual effort required to animate facial features.
