				I'm somewhat surprised by the Hardware-requirements. 8GB Ram recommended?!? Also, wouldn't High-range GeForce 400 series mean something like a GTX480M?!? I thought it was still the HPL-engine. Sure, very much improved, but still.....
 I'm just a bit confused. Wouldn't mind some feedback. Especially considering that one of the answers in the thread describes how an Onboard-card can still run SOMA. I don't assume that I will run into too much trouble with a GeForce 820 M and 4GB Ram, right?

				There are no load screens in this game so that combined with the fact that each substructure of the world seems to be very large, so this likely requires a lot of RAM to keep going.

				@PathOS:
 Thanks for the quick answer. I guess there is no real need to worry, when it will still kind of run even on integrated Graphics-cards. I mean, when Shadow Warrior (Dx11) still ran reasonably well on medium to high settings, I should be fine with this as well.

				820M and 4GB is above the minimum so will be fine. To clarify, the requirements will be slightly adjusted before release. We have not fully finished so we rather say higher and go down, than the other way around.
 Usually we also say minimum requirements that gives you an OK experience, not just what will technically run the game.

Ah, ok, that's good to know. Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate it :-)

				OpenGL? Will I be able to run at this configuration - Intel C2D E6850 (2x3GHz)/4Gb RAM/NVidia GTX285 (1Gb VRAM, not supported DX11), where I played Wolfenstein: The New Order on low-medium settings? If so, I will pre-order the game.

I cannot be certain as I don't have first hand experience with the game (not out yet) so some hints:

* You have 4GB of RAM so I assume x64 OS. That's a requirement.
* The GTX285 was a very powerful card and has no reason to not work with newer drivers. Officially it supported OpenGL 2.1 but with latter driver releases it supports OpenGL 3.3. Assuming that's what SOMA requires, you won't have issues. Direct3D is irrelevant as it uses OpenGL as a renderer.
