I'm curious about the following:

1. How will notes work now? I saw they all were handwritten, so is this part of the GUI system mentioned previously? Can we create our own notes like those?
   
2. Is it possible to bring back the journal from Amnesia to SOMA with script?
   
3. Will the game run on Windows 7 32-bit (I have 3GB RAM) with the Steam version?
   

1) They are probably images with words hand-written on them, so it's not part of the GUI.
3) No, I had to learn that the hard way!

1) Notes take an entity with a message written as a texture file then you can also press a key to get the text displayed with normal text. So you need to draw the notes or just make generic unreadable notes and rely on the player pushing the key to be able to read.

2) Yes. I mean, you can make a mod that is a racing game if you want to

3) Afraid not. You must have a 64 bit OS.

Yes. The game just reads what file are available, so just a matter of adding a file with the right translation. For Korean, you need to make font files too which is a bit more complicated but doable (same procedure as for Amnesia though).

I have been staying away from the forums with great reluctance, in order to reduce my exposure to spoilers. But today I had to come here and let the Frictional team know that I have pre-ordered (and pre-loaded),the game on Steam. This is the first game I've ever pre-ordered; I usually wait for them to be discounted on Steam and don't buy until they're under US$20.

But this is a Frictional game, and you guys really deserve it. I've bought and played the entire Penumbra series, as well as A:TDD and A:MFP, and I had no hesitation pre-ordering SOMA. It's going to be sensational, and I really hope you guys make a ton of money from it. You're leading the industry in the survival horror genre.
