Light source on Amnesia

What is the light source on Amnesia? In Penumbra it was the flashlight and glowstick, but since it's based on middle age (or what ever , there is no flashlights etc.

I would think so.. It may also be some kind of torch. You know, the kind of torch you light on fire x)

Well, if it's a lantern, small jugs of oil might fit better than candles. Although candles in themselves could probably be a light source.

Yeah, these that are mentioned so far i think are the most reasonable light sources to use =)

If you're talking about the oil jugs, i was actually also thinking the same thing. But i was not sure what to write XD

In the news thread, Jens actually says it's a lantern, in case you missed:

I have a lantern active first--

Which suggest that the player uses a lantern as the light source.

But there is no model for the lantern in the game, at least I didn't notice any. It would be cool if the lantern was affected by physics, and make it sway when moved. Of course there will be a hand holding the lantern (*cough* Penumbra *cough*)
