Downloaded game will boot but then crashes with the following attached error. PC is an i7/windows 8.1/gtx 980ti

Please do a verify cache integrity on the game in steam.

Right-click soma, properties, local files, verify cache.

From GOG not steam, verified already through gog. No dice.
