Two problems

Windows7/64bit Nvidia GTX680 i7 3.5ghz 16gb ram 480gb SSD

I have two problems in the game presently. One is sort of ignorable but the other has stopped gameplay.

1. The mouse interaction/gifs/icons are no longer showing, just a period and a small circle. Someon eon facebook told me to change a setting but I cannot find it

2. My latest savegame (wreck of Curie) spawns me inside with the monster with the head lights so close I'm unable to move and he just screams at me. The camera ia stuck looking down at the floor and I have to exit the game. I'll load an earlier one but it might be something to look into.

1. In options -> game -> simple cross hair (or some similar naming)
