seconding this.
The walk to Tau totally wrecked me. I needed two sessions with a large break in between, and it still took me the better part of an hour. Tau itself was paralyzing terror.

It took me a little while to figure out the inbuilt puzzle; the Frictional team had included a method of finding your way to Tau with a bit of ingenuity and care, instead of just wandering around blindly all over the place.
Spoiler below!
Of course the difficult part is that the first few markers aren't lit. Find the first marker, very close to the garage. It isn't lit, so orient yourself directly behind it so the part which would be blue if lit is facing you, then walk in front of it, in as straight a line as possible. You'll find the next marker. Do the same with this marker, and you'll find the next one. And so on, until you find the first lit marker, then it's easy. You can see my run here. I saved every time I found the next marker.
