Hello, friends.

I got through Omicron (I think? Definitely the complex after Theta) yesterday. The effect doesn't bother me, but for some reason I was left with an Imagetrail blur effect that can't be turned off. At first I thought it was a questionable design decision related to the paranormal stuff going on, but it kept going even after
Spoiler below!
I switched bodies and went down to the abyss,
so I think there was an error in scripting.

I can't find any settings in the "My Games" folder that would seem to let me turn off the effect. As I recall, it was optional (and called Imagetrail) in Amnesia, so I was hoping there would be some kind of toggle.

I am using the GOG Windows version, which doesn't appear to have any patches available except for Mac. In case this is relevant, I am including my system specifications and my hpl.log file.

Windows 7 64-bit
AMD Radeon HD7870, 2GB
16GB RAM
ASUS Xonar Essence STX
AMD FX 8320, 8-core, 3.50GHz

Also, two other bug notes that you may want to know about, but aren't big or anything:

Spoiler below!
The first time that little robot unsealed an airlock door for me, I went inside and shut it. Then, the robot squeezed through to the inside and actually unsealed it again. Simon thanked him both times.

The same time that I entered Omicron, my FOV lowered along with the Imagetrail effect. Fortunately, the FOV went back to normal eventually. I was going to fiddle with the FOV settings, but it actually reset to my setting the moment I opened the graphics menu.

Thanks.

At least this didn't affect the game in its entirety. I was able to reload a save right before Omicron, then breeze through it to get right where I'd left off, this time without the Imagetrail.

However, it was annoying, and it's still worth looking into, in case anyone else encounters this problem.
