What if I made lore videos for Penumbra, Amnesia and SOMA?

If I did.. How should I make them..? Should I try a cinematic approach or an easier informative approach? The problem with the cinematic approach is that I'm not a very experienced video editor..

Although I don't think I could do video editing (I only have Windows Movie Maker, nothing else), I could probably capture some gameplay and give you ideas for the videos.
