Solved: 8 Years, 8 Months, 1 Week ago Crashes on startup

i have tried updating my drivers, verifying the game cache (steam) and uninstalling and reinstalling, yet it still crashes on startup. i've played in the past on this same system with no issues.
blackbox says: amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module ig4icd32.dll an 0023:068C3DC2

You have an Intel card then? Those aren't exactly supported. I don't quite remember what version of OpenGL Amnesia requires, but I think it's higher than 1.2 (as your log says).

If you have another GPU in your system, make sure Amnesia runs on that one instead.
