Bridge@ Ah! Love that movie! I special like how it gives a perfect contrast to everything Avatar did wrong. For example making its characters completely black and white, Instead of making both sides equally "right" and "wrong" like how Mononoke had. It makes the story more dramatic because we care equally about both sides, and hate seeing them kill one another.
And yes. Despite I'm not being an anime fan per say (and I believe I made this very clear in more than one occasion), I still find anime soundtracks for some reason one of my favorites... There is just some kind of exoticism I find in them that simply rub me in the right way.
Take these as an example:
(Very Tribal and alarming)
(strangely exotic, reminds me of ancient rituals as well as church chores at the same time... one of my top favorite)
(I like the Initial part... the rest not that much.)
(Plays perfectly on a very well shot scene)
And this is only to name a few. I dunno I just like em.
