That's a ridiculous statement in my opinion, it's the same principle as if a team built a house for and you don't like it, then the manager says: "Then build your own", that just doesn't cut.

You should be able to complain and give critics without being able to do the work for someone. And as far as I can see, this thread contains a lot of constructive criticism. Just saying. ^^

I'm sure they will have a different texture on the hand by release in August.

I'm not too worried about it, I know the game will be epic regardless of if the hand looks slightly odd.

I think the hand looks good, but so far we only have low-resolution YouTube videos to go from. You´ll see when we get large screenshots.

Well, I loved the idea of hand. I said it at the teaser thread too.
I'm not bothered by it's shape or texture, but I can say it looks like a placeholder. I think that hand has a lot to go

It looked fine to me, maybe you guys are perceiving the hand from a different angle than it actually is? It looks to me it's slightly angled to the side, so of course it would look thinner, as you would be looking at the thinner part of your wrist, and your left knuckles you won't see as much.

At least when I mimiced the hand for myself it seemed alright and matched fine. =p


But yeah, that's the only thing in the trailer that bugged me a bit, the lantern folloiwng your angle when you look around a corner, that and when you move the table with the lantern still in hand when it seems more of a two handed job.

Maybe the lantern should be placed down on the table, with physics etc so the item moves when you move the table? Then again it'd be a little hard to program if there are already objects on the surface. (So it doesn't spawn inside another object, or cause some crazy collisions)

The lattern did bother me later after watching the video a few times, but I do still love how things naturally fell over or off the table like you were actually frantically dragging it over yourself in your own room. Awesome.
