RE: What I don't like about Amnesia
I can't understand english, you knew.
So, clarences voice heared too crazy for me. He kills all the eerie gameplay. It feels not more Penumbra like.
Narrator is OK and some others too if it is not too much... but clarence does interfere me.
I'm waiting for 8th september all the days because Amnesia is my favorite game this year. And I love games from Frictional Games they are best developer I think!
But if you did not understand the voices (and I play without subtitles) then it interferes the gameplay. And you did not knew why and how this unknown people all talking with you... i thought Daniel (or Philip) are alone in the dungeon. So, other peoples voice are not nice to hear. Especially Dr. Eminiss in the computer room, that was really really eerie! My heart pumped in this moment - I asked me, if Frictional Games not have fearness in their own games lol.

Ah, sorry.
Penumbra aims to feel isolated; so you're right. But I liked Clarence, it can't be helped

That's a good idea! Too late for Amnesia, but will keep in mind for possible next game.
Say what?

The more copies of The Dark Decent you buy, the more likely it is there'll be a next game

Frictional Games will probably start working on a new game after Amnesia.

Maybe a horror-based RPG. You have to survive in a certain place but you have to develop a skill or two and play it your own way. Sort of like System Shock 2 I guess.

I'm pretty sure they're taking break after Amnesia is released.
