2010-09 Friday 3rd, Demo of survival horror “Amnesia: The Dark Descent” released!

Deleting it, my PC is too weak. I tried with lowest graphics possible, everything off. And didn't work.

I can't run the demo, it segfaults

I use Ubuntu 10.4 and a radeon mobility x1300.

Since the graphics app worked for you it must be something else. The menu screen shows right? Try entering options->graphics->show advanced and remove all post effects. Try start new game and see if that helps.

If it does help, turn em on, one and one at time and we can try and discover where the problem lies.

I turned them all off.. It works, smooth, but when the cursor appears, and when I'm laying on the floor, I begin to stand up and when I'm finally on foot, the game blocks :\

Assuming you have Linux, it is most likely a very simple issue that you can fix yourself. Just have to wait for our Linux experts to check forum.

Eh... I can accept the ideea, I can't run Amnesia.. that's it.. I have to upgrade my PC...

I thought the fact that you weren't talking about when there'd be a demo would mean that it would come out after the release date.

I gotta say, I loved the Penumbra Demo.
