Lost save files

I haven't played Penumbra Overture for a while, but when I went to play it today I had lost all my save files. for some reason my save files were in another folder i found in my computer called "Episode 1". I don't know how they got there, but I was wondering where I should put them in the Penumbra files so I can access them ingame. I am running Windows 7 64x and everything ran fine before. Any helps is appreciated, thanks.
