Multiple Issues Help Game keeps freezing [SOLVED]

Game keeps freezing [SOLVED]

I am working on a custom story at the moment and it worked fine untill a few seconds ago. The game launches, I click on my custom story, it loads, i move around and the game works fine for a couple of seconds and then it keeps freezing , but the background music just plays like normal.

I've never had this bug/glitch before and my computer is very strong.
And my level isnt that big either.

It's probably a script issue. I know that if you create a neverending for-loop, it will freeze instead of crash, because it's not programmatically incorrect, just logically.

Unfortunately that's not the case for me.

Like I said my level worked fine before and I was just adding new stuff into my level up untill this point. Corrupt entities/static objects can't be the issue either as the objects I added have been in my level before and that worked fine as well

Have you looked over your hpl.log file? If there's any particular errors, that may help pinpoint it~

I fixed it!!
I checked the latest log and I found out the worn_hay_mattres is broken. I
immediately removed them from my map and it worked Smile


ERROR: Loading entity worn_hay_mattress_2: Skeletons in mesh file (D:/Amnesia - The Dark Descent/entities/prison/worn_hay_mattress/worn_hay_mattress.dae) and .ent file (D:/Amnesia - The Dark Descent/entities/prison/worn_hay_mattress/worn_hay_mattress.ent) differ! Probably caused by .ent not being up to date with mesh
