Stopped saving games

Ok, for some reason my games won`t save anymore. When I select save and exit it dosen`t save. Even after I filled the jar with acid in the kitchen it flashed like an auto-save but when I go back in I`m back to a earlier save. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The flashes are not auto saves, they show that you regain sanity.

Check so you have write permissions on the Amnesia folder in My Documents and see if that helps.

Okay it is now saving. But I have to go to load game. If I hit continue it takes me to the same earlier save.
