Extra few fps

Hi,i just got average of 7-10fps on my old machine.
I put sound acceleration to Basic ...
If you need some extra fps and the game is a bit laggy for u try to do this
Just go to
Control Panel----->Sounds and Audio devices---->Volume--->Advanced(in Speaker settings windows)---->Performance and adjust the option Hardware Acceleration from Full to Basic

See if there is any improvement with Fraps or ingame fps counter ,for me it was ...

Oh i have it,it can free memory and shut down some processes but it never do me significant increase in 3D
And this thing with sound is for older machines which have older motherboards and integrated sound cards ,it can boost fps in some games ...
Anyway the demo was very playable for me after some tweaking
