Where is that exactly? The editor executables are supposed to be located in the same directory as the 'amnesia.exe' file, and so is the 'editor' folder that is packaged with them also.

Its in my steam/username/steamapps/common/amnesia:the dark descent
So you have a "steam/username/steamapps/common/amnesia:the dark descent/editor" folder with four subfolders called 'gui', 'models', 'shaders' and 'textures', and two files called 'AreaTypes.cfg' and 'EntityTypes.cfg'?

What about the blackbox log? You should be able to save it to a file when blackbox pops up,there is a button specifically for that. Do save the log and post it here. Let's see if we can get this fixed

You do not have to open it, you just need to post it here as an attachment. Include it in your reply using the little menu called "Attachments" below the reply box. Just browse for the file and add it.
