Box light

The lighting Tut says about using a faint BoxLight to give some background ambient light to the levels but i can't seam to find were you change the power of the boxlight (or any other light) right now it will make my level very bright and point lights when used for ambient will not light the surfaces uniformly. Huh

RE: Box light

Changing the BoxLight color should do the trick. Try setting it to a darker color.

It's basic konwledge for anyone who is played around graphics Smile ... You just know what color will be the result of currently being mixed R G B channels.

Play around it a bit and You will get it.

Also a tip:

-Light can have higher value than just 1 and lower than 0, while slider restricts you to min 0 and max 1.

http://www.wolframalpha.com/ - Type in the name of a color and look under fractions

e.g. http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=brown
fractions | red 0.6 | green 0.4 | blue 0.2
