Are you using 3dsmax? If yes I set up the home grid to:

Grid spacing: 8
Major Lines: 8
Perspective: 7

The rest all on default. A common wall is high 160 units.

No i'm using Modo 401.

160 units what is that in meters, 1.6 meters? If yes them the walls are really small. A real world normal wall is 3 meters high.

160 units 3dsmax grid. I've used one of the mansion walls to get the proportion, no idea if is cm or anything else, my exporter doesn't convert units when exporting, so what I get on max is what I get ingame.

If you want I can send you an obj I did for human proportions, so you can use it as base.

I need help!

I'm using blender

I have been following this tutorial

I can open my model in ModelEditor but it has no texture =S

I suppose because I don't have a .mat file...how can I make one?
Do I need the texture to be a .dds in the same folder?

I am new to all this =)
Any help is greatly appreciated thankyou.

EDIT -

I read the previous page and found out I can add textures to it by clicking add material, and selecting a .mat...
